Private Instruction

There is no question that the most effective learning environment is a one on one class. This allows the instructor and student to get comfortable with one another quickly, and allows the instructor to assess the students learning style and skill sets more accurately than in a larger group setting. This private setting also offers greater flexibility in choosing appropriate teaching venues, times and course content. While more expensive, this class format may be the best option for students with specific goals or needs in teaching. We offer ½ day and full day private instruction at all of our locations.

Full Day Private
$350 weekends and weekdays
(each additional person $100)

1/2 Day Private
$250 weekdays only 9am-1pm or 2pm-6pm
(each additional person $75)


Group Adventures

The Eastern Mountain Sports Kayak School works with many clubs, schools, universities and community organizations like Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts to create customized programs every year. We can provide rentals, tours or classes as a one time event or a series of recurring programs. We can provide referrals and testimonials by request.

As each program is customized, rates will vary, so please call us for more details.
