Welcome to the charming “City by the Sea.” One of America’s oldest cities, Newport is rich in colonial architecture and history. Appreciate the spirit of this city with us, on the water, as we guide you through its spectacular waterfront on the way to Goat Island. Paddle up to the Newport Lighthouse that overlooks the Newport Bridge, an active lighthouse that guided mariners as far back as the 1800’s. Our journey continues with scenic views of Rose Island, Jamestown, Hammersmith Farm, and Fort Adams. Pack a lunch and water, as we will break midday. Kayaks and PFD's are provided.

Some of the street parking along the Park is for residents only. Boat parking is farther along, on both sides of the steet near the launch site. There are no public restrooms by the launch, but there is one next to the basefall field which is open during the summer.
